FamilyHealth Medical Clinic of Lonsdale is a service of Northfield Hospital. The clinic is staffed by two family physicians —- Greig Glover, MD, and Griff Kelley, MD. — that provide a full range of primary care services. In addition, we offer selected specialty services, such as OB/GYN and orthopedics. River Valley Vision Centers also has an on-site presence, offering optometry, ophthalmology and retail eyewear services.

FamilyHealth Medical Clinic of Lonsdale is the first primary care clinic in Northfield Hospital's emerging regional clinic system. A second regional clinic is being planned for the Farmington area. Others will follow. This regional approach is designed to extend primary care services throughout the region while also providing the necessary patient base to allow Northfield Hospital to attract and sustain important specialty practices, such as cardiology and oncology.

Northfield Hospital and its attached long-term care center are owned by the City of Northfield and serve approximately 50,000 area residents who live in Rice, Dakota, Scott and Goodhue counties.

Northfield Hospital provides a wide range of health care services. Our 450 employees offer emergency services, including an emergency room with round the clock physician staffing; critical care; birthing services; a full complement of skilled surgeons; advanced diagnostic imaging; comprehensive rehabilitation services; chemotherapy; home care and hospice.

The hospital is currently the anchor of a new integrated health campus, which will eventually include facilities for cardiology and oncology and accommodations for visiting specialists.
